Born in Nashville, Tennessee, Jason Saunders has been noted as an artist with several styles.  Although he paints a variety of subjects and enjoys them all, he has developed a strong following among those who love his still life work. 

Jason attended David Lipscomb University in Nashville and has studied with many of today's most respected artists, including Everett Raymond Kinstler, Ovanes Berberian, Scott Christiansen, Matt Smith, and Dawn Whitelaw.

Jason's work, which may be found in many collections throughout the United States, has also been featured in a number of solo and group shows at galleries and cultural centers.

Of his work Jason Saunders has stated: "To capture a personality, a feeling, or an emotion are several things that challenge and excite me when I paint.  My work is quite diverse.  I paint what looks and feels pleasing to me."  And what he paints pleases his viewers as well.
